La superficie liscia dell’ottone incontra il segno inciso delle estremità interne. È lì che la continuità del volume si interrompe e il dettaglio diventa parte della costruzione.

The smooth brass surface meets the engraved texture of the inner ends. It is here that the continuity of the volume is interrupted and detail becomes part of the construction.
