In Guardami negli Occhi e Baciami #18, ironia e tensione affettiva convivono nella stessa forma. Il titolo non accompagna semplicemente l’opera: ne attiva il carattere diretto, ambiguo e volutamente teatrale.

Paolo Anselmo transforms the function of the vase into an almost human presence. The rim becomes a face, the vessel a body: the object does not simply occupy space, but seems to seek a relationship with the viewer.

In Guardami negli Occhi e Baciami #18, irony and emotional tension coexist within the same form. The title does not merely accompany the work: it activates its direct, ambiguous and deliberately theatrical character.
