Cacu Lab

Cacu Lab è il progetto dell’artista Claudia Cucchi, orafa e designer italo-brasiliana, la cui ricerca si sviluppa nell’intersezione tra formazione artistica e sperimentazione sul gioiello contemporaneo.

Cacu Lab is the project of artist Claudia Cucchi, an Italian-Brazilian goldsmith and designer whose work emerges from the intersection of artistic training and experimentation in contemporary jewelry.

Dopo la formazione in Belle Arti e l’esperienza come grafica in Brasile, si trasferisce a Firenze, dove approfondisce la gioielleria presso Alchimia Jewellery School, sviluppando un linguaggio personale fondato su materia, colore e struttura.

After studying Fine Arts and working as a graphic designer in Brazil, she moved to Florence, where she studied jewelry at Alchimia Jewellery School, developing a personal language centered on material, color, and structure.

Il suo lavoro è esposto a livello internazionale in contesti dedicati al gioiello contemporaneo, tra Europa, Stati Uniti e America Latina.

Her work has been exhibited internationally and presented in contexts dedicated to contemporary jewelry across Europe, the United States, and Latin America.

La ricerca si concentra sul rapporto tra metallo e colore, tra costruzione e libertà.

Her research focuses on the relationship between metal and color, between construction and freedom.

La materia rimane visibile, lavorata ma non nascosta, in un equilibrio tra gesto tecnico e dimensione espressiva.

Material is left visible, shaped but not concealed, balancing technical gesture and expressive dimension.

I gioielli si definiscono come strutture leggere ed essenziali, dove il colore introduce ritmo e tensione, costruendo forme in dialogo con il corpo.

The pieces take form as light, essential structures where color introduces rhythm and tension, creating forms in dialogue with the body.
