Liz Huberman è un’artista argentina con base a Bruxelles. Dopo un percorso professionale nell’ambito degli affari europei, si avvicina alla gioielleria durante un soggiorno sul lago di Como e sceglie di trasformare un interesse personale in una pratica artistica.

Liz Huberman is an Argentinian artist based in Brussels. After a professional career in European affairs, she encountered jewelry during a stay on Lake Como and chose to transform a personal interest into an artistic practice.

La formazione in oreficeria e gemmologia le permette di sviluppare un linguaggio fondato sul rapporto tra materia, gesto e tempo. Nel suo atelier lavora interamente a mano metalli preziosi e pietre naturali, con particolare attenzione alle gemme meno convenzionali.

Her training in goldsmithing and gemology enabled her to develop a language based on the relationship between material, gesture, and time. In her Brussels studio, she works precious metals and natural stones entirely by hand, with particular attention to unconventional gemstones.

Le superfici e le pietre definiscono gioielli dalla presenza compatta, nei quali materia e struttura lavorano insieme. Ogni pezzo mantiene il carattere di un oggetto unico, costruito attraverso il rapporto tra volume, texture e colore.
