Gabriel Reinoso sviluppa una ricerca in cui culture, materiali e memoria della forma si incontrano. Nato a Cuba e formatosi tra Italia e Spagna, porta nel gioiello riferimenti diversi, ricomposti attraverso un linguaggio personale fatto di contrasti, stratificazioni e tensioni tra forma e materia.

Gabriel Reinoso develops a practice in which cultures, materials and the memory of form come together. Born in Cuba and trained between Italy and Spain, he brings different references into jewellery, recomposing them through a personal language of contrasts, layers and tensions between form and material.

Superfici segnate, saldature, volumi irregolari e forme non levigate partecipano alla costruzione del gioiello senza essere ricondotti a una perfezione uniforme. Il carattere del pezzo nasce proprio da questa presenza fisica della materia.

Marked surfaces, soldering, irregular volumes and unpolished forms become part of the construction of the jewel without being reduced to a uniform idea of perfection. The character of each piece emerges precisely from this physical presence of the material.

Metalli e pietre sono accostati attraverso contrasti netti di colore, peso e consistenza. Ne derivano oggetti dalla presenza intensa, nei quali ogni elemento mantiene una propria identità e contribuisce all’equilibrio complessivo della forma.

Metals and stones are combined through clear contrasts of colour, weight and texture. The result is a series of objects with a strong presence, in which each element retains its own identity and contributes to the overall balance of the form.
