Nato come linguaggio pensato per l’uomo, è oggi apprezzato anche da un pubblico femminile per la sua forza espressiva, materica e simbolica.
Originally conceived as a language for men’s jewelry, it is now appreciated by a broader audience for its expressive, material and symbolic strength.
Il progetto prende forma dalle passioni condivise dei suoi creatori, Leonardo Davighi e Filippo Sanpaolesi: il design, l’arte antica e contemporanea, l’archeologia e il valore estetico delle grandi tradizioni artigianali italiane.
The project grows from the shared passions of its creators, Leonardo Davighi and Filippo Sanpaolesi: design, ancient and contemporary art, archaeology and the aesthetic value of the great Italian artisanal traditions.
Ogni collezione nasce da una ricerca che procede per stratificazione, come uno scavo ideale in cui segni, superfici e imperfezioni vengono portati alla luce.
Each collection develops through a layered research process, like an ideal excavation where signs, surfaces and imperfections are gradually revealed.

Material and intentionally imperfect, they evoke ancient atmospheres and distant memories while speaking a deeply contemporary language.

Le collezioni di anelli e gemelli CōDICEDS si ispirano alle antiche tecniche di lavorazione della pietra e dei metalli — dal micromosaico al cosmatesco, dall’opus sectile all’intaglio, fino al cesello e alla granulazione — reinterpretate attraverso materiali e finiture contemporanee.
The collections of rings and cufflinks draw inspiration from ancient techniques of stone and metal work — from micro-mosaic to Cosmatesque decoration, from opus sectile to engraving, chasing and granulation — reinterpreted through contemporary materials and finishes.
